Building products end to end.
For 14 years now.

I’m a full-stack product engineer, these days at Poolside, working on AI coding tools. Before that I led and built cool products at Dubformer, an AI dubbing startup, worked on the GKE console at Google Cloud, and did a lot of fun stuff at Yandex Translate. I enjoy getting things done, finishing what I start and caring about the details.

Work

  1. 2025–now

    Poolside

Member of engineering, full-stack · Amsterdam, remote

Poolside trains its own LLMs. My part is the tools around them: the VS Code extension and the desktop app, and Model Factory, the internal services and pipelines the models are built with. I’m pulling those together into one proper product. Plus support for enterprise customers, and a lot of experiments with agents.

  2. 2023–2025

    Dubformer

    Lead full-stack engineer · Amsterdam

Two of Dubformer’s products started with me in an empty repo: a dubbing service for regular users, and AI Dubbing Studio, a B2B tool for localisation teams. I led and built both and took them to production, product design, dev tooling, CI/CD, performance and stability included.

  3. 2022–2023

    Google Cloud

Software engineer, GKE console · Warsaw

Performance across all of GKE was on me, and the top four pages got about 20% faster to load. I also built the analytics the team measured itself with, and a framework that untangled the dependencies between features and made new ones much quicker to build.

  4. 2019–2022

    Yandex Translate

    Senior front-end engineer

Helped redesign Translate and rebuilt its front end, after which it became Yandex’s second-fastest service, behind only Search. Worked on image translation, now one of Translate’s main features, and live translation of pages and documents in Yandex Browser. Even got a patent for it.

  5. 2015–2019

    Harbour

    Capsule Digital · full-stack, remote

A platform that runs the daily work of a group of shipping companies: crewing, payroll, voyages, port calls, live AIS tracking of the ships, documents, reports. It’s been in production since 2016, and they still run their fleet on it. My magnum opus.

  6. 2013–2015

    PhotoFunia

    Capsule Digital · full-stack

PhotoFunia is a photo effects service with over 600 effects and hundreds of thousands of users. I built the website, the mobile site and the apps for social networks.

  7. 2012–2013

    Freelance

    Full-stack

Client projects, done alone from start to finish. My first years working for myself.
